Motivation:
How?
The heart of this project was a Teensy LC, a tiny micro controller designed specificall to emulate HIDs (Human Interface Devices) when connected via USB to a computer. HIDs are most commonly found in the form of a keyboard and mouse, but can include things like joysticks and MIDI keyboards. In this project I’m using it as a keyboard to quickly type in text for whatever my dad needs. It is limited mostly by the processing power of computers and the way word processing programs interpret commands from a computer (read more here).
